Tuesday October 21, in math we studied division. In social studies we wrote a report about the silk road. The silk road is actually a trading route where people sold silk. In language arts we completed our Seminole Indian worksheet. Then in science we studied more on the water cycle. The water cycle is a never ending process which water goes through, they are evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. In reading I was with Ms. Perryman and we did our point of view.
On Wednesday October 22, in math we went over our morning work and homework. In social studies we did our poems. My poem was Mr. Yes and Mr. No. In language arts we did our work sheet on Christopher Columbus. Also in science we were still working on our study of the water cycle.
Thursday October 23, was not an ordinary day at school. This was the first day of our field trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Our first stop was at our hotel to see our rooms. My roommates were Coswell, Remington, Javion, and Remington’s Dad. We left the hotel for the aquarium. We stayed at the aquarium too long and held up the boat. But someone came and got us and we were embarrassed . But we managed to get there. On the boat we got a tour of the Chattanooga river. Our tour guide gave us a tip on the wild life while we were on the cruise. When we were almost to the shore the Captain gave us 3 three sixties. That was so much fun. We went back to hotel to get to the hotel to unload our luggage. We ate at Cracker Barrel, I got the sugar cured ham, fresh sliced apples and sweet potatoes. YUM. After we got back to the hotel we watched TV for about 10 minutes and went to bed.
Friday October 24, We woke up around 6:30 AM. We ate breakfast downstairs, I got frosted flakes with silk milk and apple juice. Our first stop was Ruby Falls. It was so much fun. The best part was when we got to the falls. It was beautiful. We then went to Rocky City. My friends and I pretended we were on the Walking Dead and that we had to get to the safe house, which was the gift shop. We went across a wobbly bridge that was scary but I ran across it anyway. We got back on the bus and went back home.
