On Monday we went to Math class. We learned all about multiplication and division. Multiplication is like adding and division is like subtracting. We did centers with Ms. Johnson for 45 minutes. Next, we went to S.S. we learned about Native Americans. We learned about Kwakiuti and Inuit tribes and where they live. Did you know Greenland is really cold and Iceland is warm. Crazy is it not. Then, we went to library we got two books. After that, we went to Language Arts. We learned about subjects and predicates. Also main verbs, helping verbs, and main idea. Afterwards, we went to science we learned about ecosystems and how they need to have living and nonliving things. Last, we went to reading we did centers. There were task cards, Ms. Cox, and independent work.
On Tuesday when we went ot math we checked our morning work. It was for Monday morning work. Next, we went to S.S. We drew pictures about an Inuit. It was a sensory figure. Next, we went to specials. We did science and worked on ecosystems. An ecosystem is made up of living and nonliving things or abiotic and biotic things. The last subject of the day was reading. We did centers for the rest of the day.
On Wednesday the third day of the week we went to math class to go over Tuesday’s morning work. Next, we went to Mrs. Mevissen’s room to do Social Studies. Again we did the sensory figure for the Inuit. Then, we went to the computer lab and we went on a site called Stride. After that, we went to Language Arts Class. And we learned all about Main Idea and Detail. Afterward, we went to science class we learned about, ecosystems. Finally, we went to the class for Reading. We began learning about informational texts.
On Thursday when we went to math class we went over our morning work for Wednesday and we were learning about expanded form. Next, we went to social studies. We were working on our study guides and our sensory figures. Then we went to specials. In specials we were writing our “All about me” stories and after that we went to language arts. We learned about subjects and predicates. Afterwards, we went to science. We started learning about abiotic and biotic or living and nonliving things. Finally, we went to reading. After that we started doing centers again.
On Friday we took our morning work assessment test. That’s all we did for math. Next we went to social studies. We did a study guide about the Kwakiutl tribe. After social studies we went to specials and we went to P.E. We were practices throwing and catching. After that, we went to language arts and we checked our morning work from Thursday and we had to check the one from that morning. We also did our language arts morning work assessment. Afterwards we went to science and we took a test on ecosystems.
In conclusion, I learned a lot this week and it will help me with all my tests.
