Today in Math, we went into groups with Ms. Johnson or Mrs. Doerr. If you were not in a group, you were to play the rounding game with a partner. In Social Studies, we got into groups of three and worked on a computer. On the computer we completed a study guide about Nez Perce. Then in Math Lab we worked on addition, subtraction, and division flash cards. Science came after and we worked on incomplete work. In Reading, we got into groups with Ms.Cox, Ms.Perryman, or worked on the computers independently. I was in the independent group working on close read.
In Math today, we checked our math morning work. After that, I worked on a rounding sheet. I finished it and played war multiplication with two partners. In Social Studies, we got a computer and continued on the Nez Perce study guide. In Art, we continued the process of drawing a fish. Then in Science, Ms Doerr gave us our worksheets that we completed to glue in our journals. In Reading today we got into groups. We read a portion of a book, wrote questions about it, and compared and contrasted with the characters.
Math today was normal routine. We checked our math morning work. After that, we worked on a subtraction problem using a number line. Then we were given cards to glue in our math journal. In Social Studies, we checked the Nez Perce study guide. After that, we read a History Alive book on the Nez Perce. In computer lab, we played stride academy. In Science, we got with Ms.Doerr, Ms.Adams, spotlight, or partner. In Reading, we went in rotations and I was on the computer. After that, I was working independently.
In Math, we worked on a math test with subtraction using a number line, word problems, and answering and identifying properties. In Social Studies, we asked questions about Hopi and Nez Perce using the study guide to a partner. In writing lab, we worked on a worksheet. Then we watched a brain pop video on the 9/11 tragedy in Science. Once we finished the video, we took a test.
In Math, we finished our test if it was not completed from the day before. Following Math, we took a test in Social Studies on Hopi and Nez Perce. In P.E, we did partner run. In Science, we took out the Science Book and answered questions 1-8 on vocabulary for this lesson. In Reading, we finished our packet and turned it in even if it was incomplete. Finally, the school week was over.
