My 4th graders have been digging deeper into their reading. Students have been working on identifying and highlighting important information. Once the important information has been located, students annotate the main idea of the text. This close reading is completed on two passages, which students then use to compare and contrast texts. It is incredible to watch them work. I am so proud!
